Summary of Position:
The successful applicant will be the primary administrative assistant dedicated to serving the managing partners, and will perform a combination of duties ranging from reception to business administration to HR support to internet support.
Detailed Duties:
  • Reception duties;
  • Fielding telephone and email inquiries;
  • Scheduling for the managing partners;
  • Office management activities (eg: ordering supplies, managing relationship with suppliers);
  • Creating reports (internal and for clients);
  • Supporting HR activities and processes (eg: from paychecks to personnel files, to coordinating interviews and filing paperwork as required, etc);
  • Participation in development and deployment of personnel / practice policies;
  • Support of website (content management and development). Training can be provided for this item;
  • Minor research assignments;
  • And other related support duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Responsible secretarial/clerical/administrative experience, preferably in a corporate environment;
  • Good knowledge of office practices in a professional environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written;
  • Thorough familiarity with MS Office family of software products;
  • Proven ability to work independently and with a team;
  • Evidence of self motivation and initiative;
  • Experience with HTML or web development an asset.
